Easter White...

I thought this was appropriate for the Easter holiday.

A good friend of mine drew this picture of me in the Savior's arms and gave it to me as a gift a year or so ago. It sits in my living room and has been a great source of comfort for me through some tough times. The scanned version does not do it justice but it will do for now.

I think it's easy to forget what this holiday of Easter represents. I feel lucky to live in the South at this time because there are constant, continuous reminders of the importance of the resurrection and the Savior of the World. The south is a place deeply-routed in faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ. The people are not hesistant to mention God, faith, prayer or the name Jesus Christ. In fact, nearly every street you turn down has a sign or billboard reminding the children of God to Pray and have FAITH. It's a beautiful thing and one of the key treasures I have in living in the south.

Happy Easter everyone! May God blass you always!
