Life is exhausting and overwhelming right now...and when I say "life" I mean school (that is my life sillies!) I love grad school and all (Well, ok love may be a little strong) but sometimes you just feel like working at McDonald's would really not be so bad...free french fries are appealing and McFlurries...anyway back on track.
Any of you who are grad students will get a giggle out of this (or feel a little more depressed like I did) and the rest of you...be grateful you didn't decide to become a nerd like me. Here is a glimpse of Deja's life as of late.
You might be a grad student if...
The concept of free time scares you.
Saturday nights spent studying no longer seem weird.
You find yourself citing sources in conversation.
You rate coffee shops by the availability of outlets for your laptop.
You regard ibuprofen as a vitamin.
You find yourself explaining to children that you are in "20th grade".
You look forward to taking some time off to do laundry (SO TRUE!).
You wonder if APA style allows you to cite talking to yourself as "personal communication". (I do a lot of "personal communication" as of late!
