New Shade of Deja

My time at the LCB was every challenge, every triumph, every heartache, every joy, every pain, every nightmare, every dream all wrapped up in the beautiful silver box! I spend eight months learning Braille, building shop projects, cooking, learning computers, going white water rafting, zip lining, riding Greyhound, playing football. While those things brought me much confidence as a blind person, the most important things I got out of my eight months were strength, friendship, hope, courage, understanding, peace, patience, motivation, empowerment and self-respect. I became this new shade of Deja.
