You Don't HAVE to be a dork...

to LOVE science!

This is a fun as all-get-out program. If you have a blind youth, they should do this, seriously, I've done it and it's beyond awesome...waaaaaaaay beyond!

Check out the details below...

It's the 2011 NFB Youth Slam...

The third bi-annual NFB Youth Slam will take place July 17-23, 2011 at Towson University in Towson, MD.  The campus is located just north of Baltimore City and is the second largest in Maryland.  We are very excited to have this information locked in and encourage all those who are interested in participating either as a student or volunteer to complete an application at <http://www.blindscience.org>www.blindscience.org.  You can also learn more about the program at this site, read FAQ's for students, parents, or volunteers, and follow our NFB Science blog or Twitter updates.

And if you ARE a nerd, don't feel bad! Being a nerd is actually quite hip right now. There are all sorts of famous nerds these days...

One word...GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Did you know George Clooney used to be a total nerd? Hello, HOT Nerd ALERT!
(I'd totally over-look the glasses and video came addiction if he looked like George...MEGA FOX-A-LICIOUS!)

And don't forget our favorite tator-lovin' nerd, boot-wearin', nerd from Idaho,  NapOlean!

And I have no clue who this guy is, he popped up on my Google search for "hot nerds" (be careful with that one by the way); I think his name is Jacob or something like that, what ev!

And, OMG, guess who else popped up on my Google search...

President OBAMA! (emphasis on the BAM), Democrat or Republican I'm sorry but our President is a flippin' HOTTEEEE! I'm being serious, I think he's a hunk!
God Bless America!!!

Oh, and I so wish I had a pic of me from about 7th grade. Picture...
Short bob hair, 2 inch thick glasses, sunflower dress with white tights and black Maryjanes...
It was at a very rough stage in my life! I wish nerds were hot then!

Sigh...

Now go sign up for Youth Slam Stylish People!

Simple and sweet. I’m thinking of starting another blog or five pretty soon, and I’ll definitely consider this theme. Keep ‘em coming!
