MANY, and I mean MANY people have been begging me to show them pictures of my adorable house. I mean thousands of emails a day, pleading for a tiny peek at how incredibly adorable it is and how amazing of a decorator I am. So wait no longer thousands of fans...today is the day you've been waiting for.
Decorating takes a lot of thought....I mean A LOT. There are so, so many patterns and colors and styles to choose from, so at one point I thought about this for the Master bed...
this way, I wouldn't have to choose a pattern, I could pick them ALL! But then I though, nah, a little too much maybe.
I then thought, hanging dead animals on walls seems to be a big thing here in the south, so maybe I could add something to fit in a little better...
A taxidermy deer rising out of the top of a Titanic themed fish tank, after all I loved Titanic, Leonardo DiCaprio is so hot!
But then, that just didn't seem me enough!
You all know how much I adore pink, I could do the entire place in pink, like a Barbie house but better.
Pink washer and dryer...
Pink living room...
Pinkalicious kitchen...
Pink potty room... with a chandelier none-the-less...
I could even add some purple for variety...
But then I felt like I'd never ever want to take Pepto Bismuth again and I love that stuff, so never mind (do you know if they seel it in Bulk at Costco?)
When thinking about the living room, I've always dreamed of a huge, fluffy couch that I could really sink into, so I found this one...
but turns out it is bigger than my house, Internet pics are so deceiving!
So I decided to take a break from the living room and begin looking for the perfect bed. I mean this is the most important piece of furniture in my mind.
You know how they say never go shopping when you're hungry, well listen to 'them' you seriously want to buy everything when you do this, like this inflatable toast bed...
or this deliciously comfy sandwich bed...
But after grabbing a quick bite to eat I thought I might like something a little more retro...
SWEET it's like from outter space!
As I was cleaning out my room to find a spot for this space-ish (haha, get it space-ish...) bed, I found like a gazillion stuffed animals I had collected. So I got this great idea...
"My house is the one with all the freaky stuffed animals hanging from it!"
So I then moved on to the kitchen. If it was up to me, I wouldn't even have a kitchen, what a waste of space if you ask me! So since the house already came with a kitchen, and a super small bedroom closet, I improvised...
It's like refrigerators were meant to store shoes, works perfectly, especially on a hot Louisiana summer day!
And last, but not least, my throne. For reasons I'd rather not discuss publicly, I spend a lot of time on the pot, so I wanted something fit for a queen such as myself...
This diamond encrusted toilet was perfect, except one little problem, diamonds can cause small laceratation on your bootay when you sit on them, who knew!?!
So I decided on a more traditional toilet...
added a little Dallas Cowboys decal inside the crap hole thingy, where it belongs, and it's my number one place for relief and relaxation!
New House. New Life. Life is good!
(Disclaimer: This may or may not be how I really decorated my house).
