We had a short honeymoon then it was back to our busy world....
GQ is his LAST quarter of graduate school and will have his MA in MAy! Cool right!?! He is pretty excited! He is interning as a counselor right now and loving it. He is already working long hours and they obviously love him because they've already hired him, so that's great! I'm really proud of him, he works very hard and is so passionate...about his job! :)
He is also training hard for an Ultra Marathon in November of this year! Thirty-one miles, of trail running! He's nuts in my opinion, absolutely insane. He asks me everyday if I want to go running with him and I normally just grab a cookie, plop down on the couch and say, "Nah, I'm good!" He also tries a lot harder than I do to eat healthy. He gave up fast food for lent, which in turn mean I gave up fast food which really sucks! But he does motivate me to eat better, or tries at least...
This morning we stopped to pick up some breakfast, he instead got a men's health magazine and I got a cinnamon roll, a chocolate glazed donut and an energy drink. I know, I'm the only one in this relationship who makes "good" choices!
He also offers me a Slim Fast on a daily basis which is really starting to tick me off. He says it's because I need breakfast and it's full of nutrients and vitamins. Right!?! :/
Anyway, he looks like a washboard and I am now developing a small roll that often laps over my pants, when I sit at my desk I have to tuck the roll into my pants, it's just stunning!
(Pause to take a bite of my donut...)
We love being married though. Although the other day someone asked us how married life was and simultaneously I said, "Awesome!" GQ said, "Weird!" Ok, whatever! Weirdly awesome I guess!?!
We are now looking for a house to call our own since I continually call my, I mean our, apartment my apartment. He doesn't like this so we are moving to something bigger and better that is ours! :)
We've found a few places we are interested in, what do you think?
We definitely want something non-cookie-cutter esk...
I kind of like more asymmetrical designs...
GQ just loved this one, didn't really perk my interest though...
and I do love shoes, but I'm not sold on this one...
We want something that's easy to describe to people when we are giving them directions to our house for parties....
...it's the one shaped like a toilet, you can't miss it!
But we are in the south so maybe something a little more rustic...
But in the end, I think we are leaning towards this one...
So yeah, we've just been exercising/eating, house hunting, finding married life to be awesome/weird and flaunting our six pack/roll!
